About Us (The Atlanta Chapter History)

The Atlanta chapter was formed in 2008 by the founder of Pink City Corp (formally Toyl Events) who is also the chapter owner B. Wilson. We are so proud to be apart of the original city that started the entire movement and Sisterhood. Through the years, we have had the pleasure of having some industry VIP’s as original members of the Atlanta Curve Appeal Movement. The Atlanta chapter has faced and overcome many challenges by starting at a time when the plus community was not as saturated as it is now with empowerment groups and organizations. A time when there were limited resources for plus size women overall. When we started, there were very few events that featured plus size women and almost no opportunities for beautiful confident “real” size curvy women to be given national exposure opportunities. The Atlanta chapter made such an impact that we made history on May 9, 2012 when we produced the first convention in Atlanta for plus size women that welcomed over 500 women.

Our Vision and Mission

Our mission is to unite, empower and educate the curvy women in the Atlanta metro area through positive events, workshops and activities. We also strive to link with the Pink City Chicks in the Atlanta area to commit to be fit and healthy, contribute to the Atlanta community and promote the importance of true Sisterhood with educated, sophisticated classy women.

We are so proud to be apart of the original city that started the entire movement and even more proud to be apart of this nationally known network of phenomenal women we call our sisters.

The Atlanta Chapter is looking for quality ladies to join us in our mission as a SIS Member. We are also seeking qualified leaders, brand ambassadors, venue partners, sponsors, exclusive vendors and glam partners through PMG.
