About us:

TOYL Events produces some of the most uniquely themed trade shows and fashion shows. We deliver a finely targeted audience, who are prepared to learn, to sample products and to purchase items. The focus is to ensure that the guest leaves happy and the venue, exhibitors and sponsors receive end-of-show results that leads to increased contacts, sales and a respected community image.

TOYL Events emerged in 1999, and is now an established company looking to expand upon its already strong event record. In 2008, TOYL Events launched a new company called Project Curve Appeal Inc.  Project Curve Appeal Incorporated was created to complete a mission to correct the distorted perception of plus size women, while empowering, educating and motivating  them to celebrate their beauty, embrace their curves and live healthy lifestyles. The niche market for Project Curve Appeal includes plus size women sizes 12-26, all respectable trendy vendors that cater to “confident” women, men that love women with Curve Appeal, size acceptance groups that promote health and beauty and other organizations with similar missions.

Since the launch of Project Curve Appeal, our company has produced several successful events that include a Curve Appeal Beauty & Fashion Show as well as a Curve Appeal Beauty & Fashion Convention in Atlanta, GA. The 1st Curve Appeal Beauty & Fashion Convention welcomed 547 women and over 40 vendors. The event featured guest speakers, entertainers, cooking demos, styling workshops, dance instruction and fashion shows with well-known full-figured designers, Qristyl Frazier Designs and Jibri. The event attracted both vendors and guest at a local and national level, who came to enjoy one of the most elite full-figured events in the country.

Project Curve Appeal ‘s popularity has sparked a movement, which is growing at rapid speed. Our company is generating thousands of friends, fans and followers on our social networks. We’ve also received press coverage from Gemini Magazine; the Curvy Fashionista blog and  from the niche market specific radio station, Plus Model Radio. Additional media exposure was gained through running campaigns on V-103, a major radio station owned by CBS with a weekly listenership of more than 800,000.

Besides producing conventions, Project Curve Appeal also manages a national model search called the 100 FOCA  (faces of curve appeal) model challenge.  Our national spokes models represent our brand in seven major metro areas; in fact, by the 2010, Project Curve Appeal will have over 100 National FOCA promoting our company, events and our sponsors.

We have partnered with several vendors and retailers around the country for in-store promotions such as mannequin modeling and our national FOCA model calls at Torrid stores located in Atlanta, GA Tampa, FL and  Chicago, IL. In the past, Project Curve Appeal events has also been supported by companies like  Ashley Stewarts, Dots, American Laser Centers, Ardyss International, Avon, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Pure Romance, Arbonne International, Cookworld, Inc., Simplicity Gourmet, Liberty Mutual, Miche Bag, and Cookie Lee Jewelry.

Project Curve Appeal lends its support to a variety of charities, including: The Enchanted Closet, Roots Adoption Agency and Dress for Success. Up to 50% of the admission ticket sales were donated to these organizations. A future goal of ours is to partner with non-profits that aid in the health and wellness of women and children. Project Curve Appeal is also open to sharing proceeds for our events to other non-profits.
